Kung Fu Cowboy in concertCoyote on set

UPDATE Feb 27, 2013:
Scott and Coyote complete the final version of the 4TH DRAFT of the screenplay, Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1.

"We printed out a couple scripts and signed them," panted an excited Coyote. "Like the blueprint to a building -- Now we know what we are going to create."

And a unique creation this movie has become. Scott Karahadian approached Coyote in September about making a movie of Coyote's homeless musician life. Scott also had visited Coyote (known as Buddha Zhen when teaching his Shaolin Kung Fu classes) at the Buddha Kung Fu school.

Scott has been a fan of American Zen since 2007. In 2010 Scott directed several music videos which are available at YouTube.com Scott's original idea was to have Coyote as a homeless vigilante in his Montrose neighborhood. Coyote would thwart a human trafficking operation and repay drug dealers for their violent crimes...

But then, in October 2013, just after Scott and Richard created the production company, Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1, LLC, Coyote was stung in the neck by a scorpion while working as a stagehand at a Brad Paisley concert near the Mexican border.

Coyote suffered severe swelling in his legs and at the completion of scriptwriting in February 2013, he has begun to rebuild his legs with his Buddha Kung Fu exercise program. Coyote assures us he will be ready to kick people on the sides of their head by the time principal photography begins.

UPDATE Feb 4, 2013:
Scott finished his version of the 2ND DRAFT of the screenplay, Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1, on Coyote's birthday. Coyote said to give him a week and he'll have the 2nd draft completed and, "ready for a reading."

Shaolin Pictures founded 1984

Based upon the life of Richard Del Connor, The Hippy Coyote, this movie was initiated by Scott Karahadian in October 2012.

Scott and Coyote began writing the screenplay in October 2012 which includes Coyote teaching his Shaolin Kung Fu classes and projecting his personalities as 3D characters with their own minds.

Shortly after scriptwriting began, Coyote got stung in the nec by a small tan scorpion while working as a stagehand for Rhino Staging at a Brad Paisley concert at the Cricket Amphitheater (in 2013 renamed the Sleep Train Amphitheater) near the Mexican Border.
